I know there is a rather small-ish BL cohort of T&E attorneys and not every firm even has the practice, so it can be hard to dig up information about it. Trusts and estates, probate, estate planning, asset protection, elder law. Days are fairly consistently 10-11 hours but there aren’t really any fire drills or rushes; so you kind of just do your work on time, no weekends or evenings. I've never done trusts and estates in big law so I can't say for sure but I would imagine you could find work doing the same at a smaller firm. Those groups are much tougher to get into, because they'll only take someone when they need to. I understand it would take me years to become decent, but there’s upside in that I can bring a firm (big or small) quite a bit of T&E work with decently HNW individuals. . One sibling.
